In route to San Antonio...need sustenance.... Stopped by Wholy bagel Wholly Molly... Sticker shock...the internet stated my bagel sandwich would be $5.50 and when I arrived the bagel was $7.99. Note to self, don't believe internet pricing. The bagel sandwich was good. The bagel was toasted and soft and fresh inside. I had a choice of several types of cheese...a pleasant surprise. The meat and eggs were cooked well and flavorful. The bagel sandwich was quite tasty. Service was good with my server offering me jelly. Wholy bagel is very small for sitting. There are some shared seating outside.

This place has the best bagels in Austin bar none! They also have the best hand made cream cheese with flavors that are authentic and thick based, not whipped like everywhere else. The owner is from NJ and being from NY myself this is the only place that makes bagels as authentic as back home for me. I have driven over 25 miles from home to pick up both bagels and cream cheese because its just that good. The bagels outer "shell" has a crispness to it but not hard, seasoning on both sides of the bagel you just cant go wrong. The ambiance in the restaurant is very much like home especially if you visit the William Cannon location which has pics of the NY sports teams

Took out an assortment of six bagels and a small smear that was veggie-based. All the bagels were, according to the people that ate them, very good. I had an everything bagel and I would agree. Tasty bagel. The outside was perfectly solid, and the inside was soft and properly doughy. The bagels toasted up quite well. Why only four stars? I just don't think six bagels and a small smear ought to be this pricey.

Wholy Bagel? More like, Holy Cream Cheese! There is only one true way to eat a bagel, and that's toasted with a mound of cream cheese on top. If you eat it like a sandwich and the cream cheese falls out you know it's done correctly. It is difficult to come across bagel shops that aren't chains like Einstein, so it's refreshing to get a chance to have a legit shop nearby. So far, I have only gotten their sesame bagel toasted with cream cheese, but their bagel sandwiches look delicious, and will be next on my list. The only "negative" (based on my 5 minutes in there) is to maybe put a door separating the kitchen from the dining/order area. The prep station's music was outplaying the music in the front and it kind of threw off the vibe. But again, I didn't eat there so maybe other people don't mind.

I'm always on the hunt for some good vegan cream cheese. So when I heard about how good their bagels are supposed to be and then saw they had vegan cream cheese on their menu I just had to go! I read reviews about the blueberry bagel and so I ordered it. It was really good, though I'm not from the east coast so I don't really have anything to truly compare it too. I got my bagel extra toasted and the perfect amount of cream cheese was spread on it. It was a small place with some bar stools for seating. The staff was really nice and my order came out fast. I want to go back and try a breakfast sandwich!!
